Cancellation Policy
Appointment Cancellations
At Acupuncture Works, appointment times are reserved specifically for each patient.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.
Providing adequate notice allows us the opportunity to offer the appointment time to another patient.
Late Cancellations
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee equal to 60% of the scheduled consultation fee.
This fee reflects the reserved appointment time and the difficulty of filling appointments cancelled at short notice.
Missed Appointments
Patients who do not attend their scheduled appointment without providing notice may incur a fee equal to 60% of the scheduled consultation fee.
Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur.
Cancellation fees may be waived at the discretion of Acupuncture Works in cases of genuine illness, emergencies, or other exceptional circumstances.
Health Fund Claims
Cancellation fees and missed appointment fees are not claimable through private health funds and remain the responsibility of the patient.
Outstanding Fees
Outstanding cancellation fees may need to be settled before future appointments can be confirmed.
Agreement
By booking an appointment with Acupuncture Works, you acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation Policy.
